Happy New Year!!

Well that's 2011 over and done with and I feel like we're going to be hitting the ground running this year. The websites up and running, we've been rehearsing the new material and Dave and myself have spent this afternoon drinking coffee and working out a plan of attack for 2012. I've not seen Paul for a couple of weeks now but I've heard via his Facebook updates that he's now clean shaven and he's even had a haircut!
Oh and if you're looking for new stuff to listen too this year then why not check out Your Neck Is Bleeding from The Travis Waltons. They recorded it at the same place we're recording our album, Millionaire is well worth a cheeky listen.

Hello and welcome to the British IBM, the brand spanking new band from Paul Richards, Dave Martin and myself. Starting early 2012, we’ll be recording our début, self-titled album at Half Ton Studios, Cambridge and hopefully we'll be touring in the summer.
You’ll be able to keep tabs on us and our various escapades right here at our new website. We’ll be posting regular updates, demos and videos as our story unfolds. We also have a mailing list and we're available on all good social networking sites!
Retro Video Game Night #024

Date: 15th March 2024
Venue: The Hub, Cambourne
Tournament: NA
Tournament Winner: NA
The Cambourne Retro Nights were becoming a regular occurrence and gaining momentum four years ago, before world events disrupted them. It's insane that it's been that long, so we've decided it's time to bring them back.
It was wonderful to see familiar faces again and to receive assistance from a few individuals who helped with setup and even brought their own retro hardware. Hopefully, we won't wait this long until the next one.

Venue: Lord Conrad's Brewery, Dry Drayton
Tournament: NA
Tournament Winner: NA
Been a while since we did a Retro Night (3 years!) and Jon thought it might be fun to try and do one at the brewery for a change. Was a lot of fun as always, had some new people turn up and one individual was kind enough to bring his Spectrum Next for people to try out.

Date: 28th February 2020
Venue: The Hub, Cambourne
Tournament: Virtua Fighter (Sega Saturn)
Tournament Winner: Zack
First Retro Night of 2020! Awesome turn out and a few new faces. Local retro gamer Adam Sheik bought his brand new ZX Spectrum Next along for people to try our, which we set up next to an original model (Thanks to Chris Foulds for bringing that!).
16 people battled for supremacy in the Virtua Fighter tournament, which was eventually won by Zack and I played Fight Club on the original XBox for the first time.
