The Sinclair QL turns 30 this year and even though it may not have been a commercial success it still has a strong fan base today. The QL can even be held partially responsible for the creation of Linux, since Linus Torvald creator of Linux started out on one back in the 1980s.

I was contacted Urs König late last year regarding using the British IBM in a new video celebrating this milestone. Urs runs the Sincliar Alumni group where more than 20 of the original Sinclair employees stay in contact and he's also supporting the work being done on Bedrooms to Billions.

If you cast your mind back to late 2013 you may remember that Dave and myself made a little music video for Feeling in an attempt to win a support slot on the Weezer Cruise. The winner was determined by the number of YouTube likes received. Unfortunately we didn't win but thanks loads to everyone that was nice enough to take time out to like and share it.

Don't worry though, we will indeed stick to our promise, that was the first and last time we'll ever ask you to vote for something. We're not about to turn into one of those annoying bands that's pestering you via email and facebook on a daily basis trying to claw our way up a local radio station's unsigned chart etc. This was a one off.

In the end the winner was these guys with over 7000 likes! So congratulations to Sotogarcia, and thanks once again to all those that liked and shared our video :-)

Happy Christmas from the British IBM HQ! Bit of a late post but it's been pretty busy at this end. Anyway, hope you all had a great Christmas and Santa brought you everything you wanted :-)

The three of us have just finished signing 500 CD's for backers of the Artcade Kickstarter, it didn't actually take as long we thought once we had a little production line set up. We even celebrated the final signature by streaming a very brief and very impromptu acoustic set of about 4 songs with Paul drumming on the kitchen table. These are crazy days we're living in.
