Revival Mini
- Written by: Aidy
Just confirmed another solo acoustic gig for December, I'll be playing a few songs at Revival Mini on the Saturday night (7th December 2013).
Really looking forward to this one! We had a great time at Revival earlier in the year and I actually got myself a ticket as soon as they came on sale. I'll be there both days working my way between the various arcade machines and the bar so look forward to seeing a few familiar faces.

Aidy on BBC Cambridgeshire

Ended up on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire again today, starting to feel like a bit of a regular. This time I was briefly on Mark Rumble's Sunday show chatting about video games in general and the launch of the XBox One. It was good fun and it turns out that Mark Rumble also owned a Sega Master System back in the day. You can listen again here for the next 7 days: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00cx1fd
Upcoming Solo Gigs

Well we played our final show of the year at Play Expo a couple of weeks ago and we're all having a well deserved rest until 2014 kicks in. In the interim I'll be doing a few little solo acoustic shows in December, I've already booked in two and hopefully there'll be more to come. I've been writing new material for a while now and I'll probably use this as an opportunity to have a crack at some of it live. Work should start on the second album early next year.
Solo Acoustic Gig Dates
1st Dec 2013 - Horns, Watford
22nd Dec 2013 - Stockton-on-Tees, The Vault (StockRock Acoustic Festival)

Chances are you've already heard me talking about this on Twitter and Facebook or you've noticed the little KickStarter widget that we've had on the site, but I just wanted to say a massive congratulations to Tim Nicholls. Tim's Kickstarter to create "A big book full of spectacular artwork from the greatest games machines ever to grace the floor of your favourite arcade!" was successful and I'm really looking hold of my physical copy. It looks like it's going be an awesome book, oh and backers even get a signed copy of our album with it!
Retro Video Game Night Aftermath

Here are a few photos I took at the recent Retro Video Game Night in Cambridge last Friday. The entire evening consisted of playing video games, drinking beer and eating burgers from the Burger Van that was conveniently parked right outside the museum. A great way to spend a Friday! Hopefully this'll become something of a regular thing and once we've confirmed the next one we'll be sure to let you know. In the meantime if you haven't yet visited the museum then get yourself down there and show them some support.
